In a letter to Terry Spragg from Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Israeli Prime Minister, the Honorable Shimon Peres, dated Janury 16, 2004, he states in part,
"Prof. Pohoryles has briefed me relating to
your efforts to solve fully or partially the
critical situation regarding water resources
for the Middle East. The draft of "WATER WAR
AND PEACE" written as a novel is in my view
an original approach to highlight this grave
problem and its solutions, that will pave the
path to a better and more peaceful region.
Your efforts to embark on a demonstration
voyage to enlighten us all, both regarding
the technological viability as well as cost,
will surely contribute to meet this critical
dilemma."

Waterbags may be great, and I hope they're used to bring water to Israel, but this will have no effect on the violence between Palestinians and Israel. Every time the Palestinians are given land or money, they use it for terror. Not the opposite. But good luck to water bags!
It's pathetic to see individuals using this unique service as an attempt to gain free advertising and exposure.
Ignoring the fact that this is not a real prediction, but rather an attempt to direct traffic to Mr. Spragg's poorly executed business venture, neither side is fighting primarily for a water source. One side fights to take back their homeland from a group of intruders and settlers, while the other fights to establish colonies and force a population out of their homes in order to take land they feel a deity has gifted to them.
If there are two things the Spraggmeister is known for, they are wild, unchecked optimism and shameless self-promotion. As much as I would hate to see your pet project end up as yet another epic failure, I can't help but feel a bit of schadenfreude regarding your plight when I see this great dream fail to materialize in the least bit.
Your site claims (citing a 1999 SF Chronicle article) that this big Spragg bag voyage is happening in Summer/Fall 2009. Well guess what, Spraggy? We're there, and a Google News search of "Spragg bags" (without the quotes) still yields a grand total of zero hits.
Spraggy, you have really gone off the deep end this time, as this specific "prediction" isn't even a prediction at all, it's just a blatant, unapologetic advertisement.
Are you sure you're talking about waterbags? I ask because when I read your posts on here, the word "windbag" seems to come to mind instead.
