Grant’s Argument

Some of the newest cancer techniques pharmaceutically deprive tumors of their blood supply by retarding the development of new vascular tissue in and around uncontrolled tissue growth.
It's been demonstrated for many years among those trained in biofeedback (or meditation) to consciously alter the temperature of very specific areas of the body through volition.
Similar techniques in human volition will be used with new computerized forms of real-time physiological monitoring to "cool" tumors and reconnect the patient's awareness to unconsciousness areas of their body (i.e., cancer).

Interesting.

I haven't read much about biofeedbak or fMRI. But I am aware that one of the new directions in research is figuing out how to help the body itself fight cancer, like by strenghening its own defense.

Some Chinese herbs used to fight cancer have show some acceptance. I'm not sure if it's proven but I'm very willing to believe some stories of people going into remission merely thru herbs and a change of mind. We're hardly aware of the power of our own immune system, especially when it's given some help.

there are several impediments to this prediction one of which is the reluctance the medical community for using a subjective technology such as biofeedback; another is the disruptive nature of non-pharmaceutical therapies for cancer treatment. In other words, it's going to be tough because you can't prescribe a differential amplifier (can't make money at it) and it's effects are more subjective (what works for one may not for another). but the prediction holds IF ANYONE uses real-time physiological monitoring to arrest or alter the progression of cancer.
