Jack I think you bring up an important theory that is currently being disputed among meteorologists but what do you mean? Do you think there will be fewer hurricanes or that the hurricanes will be less powerful?

To deny global warming based on observations by an untrained person in a localized area is not only fool hearty but indicative of the problems that face those trying to combat this issue. Do you understand the complete workings of the earth? Why does global warming = increase in hurricane? Just because someone says its true doesn't make it so, nor the opposite. Just because there aren't more hurricanes doesn't discount the affects of global warming either.

The number of hurricanes over a such a short period of time has no real bearing on the overall severity of the climate change that is occurring. The number of hurricanes experienced in that locale over your selected period of time is completely insignificant. You must take more than one step back from your experiment in order to put it into perspective. Six years is nothing in the grand scheme of things. By your logic I can make the prediction that we won't have another Ice Age for the rest of the Earth's existence because it has been for the most part warm, sunny and without snow in my region as long as I have personally experienced.

In other words, the fact that you have no takers is not a silent admission that you're correct, but an indictment that your premise is idiotic. Congratulations!
